Race Cars and Math

We started the design process on the Drag Race Cars. Student teams worked on modeling, measuring, brainstorming, design features. We also reviewed the first chapter and workbook of our Algebra Text Book. We are going slow to start out as it is a new way of doing Math. Research based and tested we will proceed slowly, methodically, until we get to a place where we can decide what is homework and classwork. No new assignment given today.

Assigned Chapter 1, Lesson 3 of the Algebra Text. Complete all of problem set. In class we worked on positive and negative integers on the number line. We created a number line game where students created seven tasks and their table partner had to do the same. They exchanged questions verbally and tried to solve.
